Personal or Corporate Check

Donations made by personal or corporate check may be made payable to Founding Forward and mailed to:

Contributions may be made directly on your credit card. To do so, visit our secure and encrypted Donation Form.

You may set up your donation to be a one-time gift or a recurring monthly donation. If you choose to make a monthly donation, we will automatically bill your credit card or debit your bank account each month.

Many Union League members elect to have charitable contributions to Founding Forward processed on their monthly member bill. It is a convenient and simple way to support our mission. Charitable contributions made on your member bill can be processed monthly (dividing your annual contribution into 12 equal amounts) or as a one-time transaction. You can also choose to be a sustaining monthly donor, which means we will bill your League account each month until directed us otherwise. To set up monthly billing, complete our online Member Billing Form or contact:

Gifts of appreciated securities are gifts of stocks, ETFs, or mutual funds. These can be an effective tax strategy for many individuals. Donating appreciated securities allows the donor to contribute the market value of the security while eliminating any capital gains taxes due if sold. Please contact your tax or financial advisor for details.

The impact of your gift to Founding Forward may be doubled or tripled if your company has a matching gift program. Typically, Founding Forward can be searched within the matching gift online platform using our full legal name: Founding Forward (formerly The Union League Legacy Foundation and/or Freedoms Foundation at Valley Forge) or our EIN# 26-1894379.

Gifts to endowments are usually significant contributions. Endowment funds generate income to support specific programs in perpetuity. To learn more about making a gift to an existing endowment fund or establishing a new endowment for specific purpose, please contact:

A planned gift can provide funding for future programs of Founding Forward, while helping the donor achieve his/her personal and philanthropic goals. Bequests, retirement plan designations, and life insurance gifts are just a few of the ways to make a planned gift. For more information, please visit our Heritage Society Page.

Founding Forward welcomes gifts made to honor or memorialize others. There is no better way to recognize a friend, relative or loved one than by making a charitable contribution in their name to Founding Forward. The individual being honored or the family of the person being memorialized will be notified of the gift, including the donor’s name and mailing address. The donation amount is not shared.

If you are required to take a minimum distribution from your retirement account, you can avoid taxes on that money by donating it to Founding Forward. Please contact your financial advisor with our EIN# 26-1894379 for more information.
