Tim Werbrich is in his 25th year of teaching. He currently teaches Advanced Academics for students in grades 1-5 at Leasure Elementary School in Newark, DE.
Born and raised in SW Ohio, Tim earned a Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice from THE University of Dayton and became a public safety officer in Oakwood, Ohio. After retirement, he earned Master’s in Elementary Education from Wilmington University and began his teaching career in 5th grade at Bayard Intermediate in Wilmington, DE. Tim is a strong supporter of civic and economic education, especially at the elementary level.
Tim and his wife of 27 years have 3 children and 2 grandchildren. Tim’s hobbies include traveling, genealogy and geocaching.
