With over 15 years of experience, Lydia Beck is a dedicated educator who has taught a wide range of subjects and electives to students from kindergarten through ninth grade. A proud graduate of BYU-Idaho, she currently teaches Social Studies & ELA to 7th and 8th-grade students at Richard McKenna Charter School in Mountain Home, Idaho. The school’s specialization in project-based learning aligns with her passion for creating engaging, real-world activities that foster critical thinking and creativity.
Lydia believes strongly in the importance of civics education and is dedicated to helping fellow teachers discover and implement effective, engaging resources. Lydia believes strongly in the mission of Founding Forward and is both honored and thrilled for the opportunity to serve as an ambassador.
In her free time, Lydia enjoys traveling, visiting museums, reading, cooking, and board games, but especially spending time with her husband and children.
