Kimberly Stevenson teaches 8th grade US History in Elkton, KY. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Education (with a focus on Secondary Social Studies) and an Education Specialist (focus on Leadership and Curriculum) from Arkansas State University, and earned a Master of Arts in Museum Studies from the University of Oklahoma. She is a member of the National Council for History Education, the Kentucky Council for Social Studies, the National Council for Social Studies, and is a 2026 Kentucky Teacher Achievement Award recipient. Kimberly immerses students in her content area by utilizing inquiry-based practices and hands-on learning. Kimberly is a dedicated social studies educator with over 13 years of experience in fostering critical thinking and a deep understanding of history, geography, and civics among students both in and out of the classroom.
