Justin Glodowski is in his 15th year of education and teaches social studies at Marshfield High School in Marshfield, Wisconsin. He teaches a range of courses including AP U.S. Government and Politics, AP Comparative Government, and classes focused on crime, justice, genocide, and human rights. Justin emphasizes experiential civics education, regularly using simulations, community partnerships, and primary-source analysis to help students engage deeply with democratic principles. Outside of the classroom, he serves in leadership roles with the Wisconsin Council for the Social Studies and has participated in state and national civic education initiatives, including with the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction and Arizona State University. He was named the 2023 Gilder Lehrman Wisconsin History Teacher of the Year.
