Jennifer Morgan is a dedicated educator with 34 years of experience, including 32 years teaching 8th-grade U.S. History and Civics in West Salem. Although she spent six years as an instructional coach, her passion for working with students brought her back to the classroom. She holds a B.S. in Broadfield Social Studies from UW-Platteville and an M.E.-P.D. from UW-La Crosse.
Beyond teaching, Jennifer leads an annual Washington, D.C. trip for over 100 students and has advised student council, yearbook, and National History Day projects. Since 2007, she has served the Wisconsin Council for the Social Studies and currently acts as Executive Director. Nationally, she served on the NCSS Board (2015–2018) and is now Immediate Past President.
Her global experiences include a Fulbright-Hayes Fellowship to China and Taiwan, volunteer work in Rwanda, and a study tour to South Korea. She values lifelong learning and seeks opportunities to enrich her teaching.
