Heather Valdespino teaches AP United States History and AP Government & Politics at Ernest McBride High School in Long Beach, California. She has been teaching for over 25 years and is also a Table Leader for the College Board’s Advanced Placement Reading. Heather is a graduate of California State University, Dominguez Hills with a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology, Archaeology and a Master of Education in Curriculum Design & Instruction. She was the 2023-2024 Veterans of Foreign Wars State of California High School Teacher of the Year. She enjoys traveling the world with her family and is an avid foodie.
