Chisoney Swaby is a dynamic, awe-inspiring educator with over 8 years of teaching experience. She currently lives and works in Southern New Jersey where she teaches elementary STEM courses. Chisoney actively differentiates curriculum to meet the needs of all learners. She builds engagement in her classroom by connecting her lessons to real world experiences and provide lots of hands-on practice.
Chisoney is a lifelong learner. In her spare time, she enjoys visiting historic sites and reading biographies. Her most recent trip was to the Princeton Battlefield in Mercer County, New Jersey where she watched the reenactment of the Battle of Princeton. Chisoney hopes that as a Founding Forward Ambassador she can assist teachers in their growth of using primary sources to build engagement and drive instruction.
