Brian Geldmacher teaches Ancient Civilizations, Medieval History, and United States History at Salem Lutheran School in Affton, Missouri. He has taught middle school social studies for eleven years and especially loves studying the American Revolution with his students. He also teaches several other elective classes, including a novel study and a character development class using the Medal of Honor Character Development Program. Brian grew up in Saint Louis, Missouri, and attended Missouri Baptist University for his B.S. in Secondary Education and Social Sciences (2014). He places the utmost importance on continued learning and wanted to become a Teacher Ambassador to support other educators in finding quality civics and history-based professional development with Founding Forward. When not teaching or attending social studies institutes, Brian enjoys traveling, watching his favorite sports teams (St. Louis City SC soccer and St. Louis Blues hockey), and spending time with his wife and three kids.
