Good Citizen Dallas Fort Worth Student Nomination

The Nomination Process

Founding Forward will hold its inaugural Good Citizen Day – Dallas-Fort Worth on Saturday, October 17, 2026 at Old Parkland at 3819 Maple Ave, Dallas, TX. Founding Forward will honor and recognize over 60 high school young men and women from the area to receive the Founding Forward Good Citizenship Award. The purpose of this program is to recognize, celebrate, and educate students from the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex to be informed, engaged, and responsible citizens, creating the leaders of tomorrow.

The program is designed for high school sophomores, juniors and seniors, who are United States citizens. Students considered for this program should have demonstrated exemplary citizenship as evidenced by community engagement and service, personal initiative, hard work, responsibility, accountability, respect for others, and a commitment to the American founding principles.

Instructions for Nominations

All nominations are due by Monday, September 21, 2026

  • Each school and organization is encouraged to develop their own process for selecting students to nominate and participate in Good Citizen Day Dallas-Fort Worth and receive the Good Citizenship Award
  • The Student Information Form is to be completed by the nominated student from your school or organization.
  • Once Founding Forward receives the the student's nomination form, we will contact those students directly with more information to formally invite them to Good Citizen Day on Saturday, October 17, 2026.
