Good Citizen Nominations

The Nomination Process

Please review thoroughly before starting your nomination process

Each agency is encouraged to develop their own process for selecting students to nominate and participate in Good Citizen Day and receive the Good Citizenship Award. Please discuss your process with your League Member liaison.

All forms should be submitted by you as the agency representative through our website.
Founding Forward should not receive forms directly from students, or anyone else in your organization. Forms submitted by someone other than you, will not be processed.

We should only receive as many nominations as you were allocated (referenced in the opening letter). We will not process any nominations that exceed your allocation. Please contact your liaison to request a temporary increase to your allocations. 

Once Founding Forward receives the nomination forms for your allotted number of students, we will contact those students directly with more information to formally invite them to Good Citizen Day on Wednesday, March 25, 2026. Once you submit the nominations from your organization, please distribute the Fast Facts about Good Citizen Day to your nominated students.

Instructions for Nominations

  • The Nominator Form is to be completed by the person in your organization who is nominating the student (that could be you, a troop leader, coach, teacher, mentor, etc.)
  • The Student information Form (two pages) are to be completed by the students being nominated and returned to the nominator
  • The agency representative is to collect all completed Nomination Packets: Nominator From & Student Information Form for each students.
  • Once all forms are completed and collected, the agency representative should submit the online nomination form using the information in the students' paperwork on the Founding Forward website.

All nominations are due by Monday, January 19, 2026.
