Give Me Liberty: A Civic Celebration Registration

Register to attend our two-day celebration of America's 250th!

We are pleased to invite you to register for Founding Forward’s Give Me Liberty: A Civic Celebration on September 17-18, 2026. Registration is required to attend this event. Please complete the form below.

This event will provide an incredible opportunity for invited participants to celebrate America’s birthday, meet and collaborate with others, build new partnerships, and inspire those engaged in this work to do more by launching a platform for new programs and a new national movement. 

This celebration includes:

  • Constitution Day celebration, dinner, and awarding of the Charles Kurz, II Prize for Civic Education Leadership
  • Groundbreaking ceremony for the new Martha Washington Building on the Valley Forge campus
  • Tours of historic Philadelphia, Valley Forge National Historical Park, and Valley Forge Campus
  • 3-night hotel accommodations at The Union League of Philadelphia (September 16th to 17th)
  • Spectacular meals and networking opportunities
  • Educational and informative sessions and panels including a State of Founding Forward 
  • And more

There is no cost for the two-day event. You will be our guest for this intimate celebration with chapter and partner leaders across the country. Events, tours, accommodations, and meals are all included free of charge.

Travel to and from Philadelphia airport is not included. Flights should be made for arrival on September 16 and departures after 3pm on September 18. Programming/activities will begin at 9am Thursday, September 17 through lunch on September 18.

Full schedule:

Day 1: Wednesday, September 16 – Travel Day 
  • 6:30pm to 8:30pm — Registration at the Inn at The Union League of Philadelphia
    • Optional for early arrivals:
      • Tours of the historic League House
      • Local historic local historic sites/museums: National Constitution Center, Museum of the American Revolution, Carpenters Hall 
         
Day 2: Thursday, September 17  
  • 7:30am to 8:30am – Registration, breakfast & opening remarks  
  • 8:30am to 9:00am – State of Founding Forward
  • 9:00am to 9:45am – General Session 
  • 10:00am to 11:30am – Civitas Program with Founding Forward Senior Fellow John Yoo
  • 11:45am to 1:00pm – Lunch Program 
  • 1:15pm – Historic Philadelphia tour 
    • 2:00pm – American Philosophical Society 
    • 3:30pm – Independence Hall 
  • 4:30pm – Return to League House 
  • 6:00pm – Annual Celebration with awarding of the Charles Kurz, II Prize for Civic Education Leadership 
     
Day 3: Friday, September 18 
  • 7:30am to 8:45am — Breakfast & room checkout 
  • 9:00am – Trip to Valley Forge Campus
  • 10:15am to 12:00pm – Valley Forge Campus 
    • Overview of Campus Updates/Development 
    • Martha Washington Building Groundbreaking Ceremony 
    • Tour and/or Signer’s Ceremony 
  • 12:15pm – Lunch  
  • 1:00pm – Return to Philadelphia 
 
Optional Weekend in Philadelphia, Valley Forge, and Lancaster 
  • Staff to assist attendees with optional weekend tour suggestions and a list of hotel recommendations
