Travel back in time to meet Mark Twain, the great literary celebrity of 19th century America, brought to life in historical reenactment by Mark Dawidziak. Known now for his classic books, The Adventures of Tom Sawyer and Adventures of Huckleberry Finn, Twain’s career extended far beyond novels into journalism, political commentary, and satire. No man grappled so publicly, or so wittily, with his country’s past, present, and future. Find out why every era of American history has found something admirable, controversial, or fascinating about this colorful figure.
Mark Dawidziak is the author or editor of 25 books and an internationally recognized Mark Twain scholar.
