The 2025-2026 year saw several significant Supreme Court rulings on the topics of executive authority, birthright citizenship, voting rights, and campaign finance. This program promises to provide an enlightening and unique look at the cases both behind and ahead of the Court.
Michael J. Gerhardt is the Burton Craige Distinguished Professor of Jurisprudence at UNC-Chapel Hill, where his research focuses on constitutional conflicts and separation of powers. Matthew J. Franck is the Director of the William E. and Carol G. Simon Center on Religion and the Constitution at the Witherspoon Institute in Princeton, New Jersey. Sarah Isgur is the host of Advisory Opinions and the editor of SCOTUSblog. She has worked in every branch of the federal government and on three presidential campaigns.
