On October 19, Founding Forward will host a program at their Philadelphia campus located in the Heritage Center of The Union League of Philadelphia (140 South Broad Street, Philadelphia, PA). Keeley Tulio, Director of Historic Engagement at Founding Forward, will provide a brief presentation about how the Union League and Philadelphians celebrated America’s birthday at the Centennial (100th in 1876), Sesquicentennial (150th in 1926), Bicentennial (200th in 1976) and Semiquincentennial (250th in 2026). The program will include some items from the Union League’s library and archives related to America’s birthday as well as access to Founding Forward’s current exhibit, Crafting Independence: “All Men Are Created Equal.” Guests will enjoy a reception with soft drinks and light refreshments.
