Fourteenth Amendment: Origins and Interpretations
September 12-14, 2025, at Union League Liberty Hill
This three-day professional development seminar, held in partnership with The Jack Miller Center, is designed for educators, explores the origins, interpretations, and enduring impact of the 14th Amendment to the United States Constitution.
Participants will receive a $150 travel stipend.

In Their Own Words: The Civil War Soldier Experience
October 23, 2025, at The Union League of Philadelphia
This unique, one-day professional development seminar immerses educators in the experiences of Civil War soldiers, including some who served under Generals Ulysses S. Grant at Shiloh and William T. Sherman during the March to the Sea, as well as a primary source experience using diary entries from The Union League archives.
Participants will receive a $50 travel stipend.

Cold War Collapse
November 14-16, 2025, at Union League Liberty Hill
This three-day professional development seminar for educators explores the end of the Cold War, focusing on the pivotal roles of Ronald Reagan, Pope John Paul II, and Margaret Thatcher, alongside a comparative analysis of communism’s failures versus constitutional democracy’s strengths.
Participants will receive a $150 travel stipend.
