Thanks to our generous donors, educators can attend for free, which includes program tuition and materials, room and board, historic site visits, and more. Participants will also receive a $150 stipend to help with travel expenses.
Our weekend workshops are ideal for educators with busy summer schedules, and the travel stipend makes it even easier to attend. Choose from one of several three-day programs that focus on the Declaration of Independence, making it especially timely for the 2024-2025 and 2025-2026 school years.

No debate about it, the ability to present and defend an idea is a life skill
This summer, Founding Forward is presenting our first Debate & Leadership Institute for rising 10th, 11th, and 12th-grade students from across the nation to strengthen their debate skills and deepen civic knowledge. The ability to present and defend an idea and critically assess opposing viewpoints is a critical skill students will use throughout their education, their careers, and their lives. The program runs July 21-25 at our Valley Force campus. Apply today for this unique summer opportunity!

Let your middle schooler experience history like never before

Register your student today to not miss the summer fun!

Founding Forward speaker program’s travel to Valley Forge with Coming to Terms with John F. Kennedy
On May 6, historian Dr. Stephen Knott, author of the biography Coming to Terms with John F. Kennedy, will share the insights he gained over a lifetime grappling with JFK’s legacy. By presenting the real President Kennedy – not the “Camelot myth” – Dr. Knott brings a fresh perspective on a presidency that left a lasting impact on the nation.
The program will be hosted in person at Founding Forward’s Valley Forge campus, beginning with a reception with the author at 6:00pm followed by the program at 6:30. The program is free, but registration is required to attend.
If you can’t make it to Valley Forge, the program will be available along with our other speaker programs through Founding Forward’s YouTube channel beginning at 6:30pm the day of the program.
